What we collect

  • When you order: first and last name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number.
  • When you pay: your card details are handled directly by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
  • When you write to us: the information you enter in our forms, including group booking requests.
  • When you browse: pages viewed, device type, referral source — by means of cookies.

Why we collect it

  • To process and deliver your orders, and keep you informed
  • To answer your questions and booking requests
  • To prevent fraud and secure transactions
  • To meet our accounting and tax obligations
  • To measure our site's audience and the effectiveness of our advertising, if you have consented
  • To send you our communications, if and only if you have consented

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers that allow us to operate:

  • Shopify — shop hosting and payment processing
  • Our carriers — to deliver your order
  • Libro Reserve — if you book a table through our site
  • Meta (Facebook, Instagram) — measuring the effectiveness of our advertising
  • Google (Analytics) — measuring our site's audience
  • The competent authorities, where the law requires it

Several of these providers — notably Shopify, Meta and Google — process your information outside Quebec, mainly in the United States, where it is subject to local law. We share with them only what is necessary for the purposes described above.

How long we keep it

For as long as needed for the purposes described above, then for the periods imposed by tax and accounting law — generally seven years for transaction data.

Your rights

At any time, you may:

  • Access the information we hold about you
  • Ask for it to be corrected if it is inaccurate
  • Ask for it to be deleted, subject to our legal obligations
  • Withdraw your consent to our communications
  • Request the portability of your information in a structured format

Cookies and advertising measurement

Necessary cookies. Some cookies are essential for the site to work: cart, session, security, language preference. They cannot be disabled.

Measurement and advertising cookies. With your consent, we use tools that help us understand how our site is used and measure the effectiveness of our advertising:

  • Google Analytics — pages viewed, traffic source, device type
  • The Meta pixel and Conversions API — to know whether a visit or a booking follows an ad you saw on Facebook or Instagram

What is sent to Meta. If you have consented to advertising measurement and you give us your email or phone number — when placing an order or filling in a form — that information may be sent to Meta in hashed, irreversible form. Meta compares it with its own data to attribute a conversion correctly. We never send your email or phone number in plain text for advertising purposes, and this information is neither sold nor used to identify you by name.

Your choice. These cookies are off by default. You accept or refuse them on your first visit, and you can change your mind at any time by deleting cookies in your browser settings. Refusing does not prevent you from ordering, booking or writing to us.

Bookings. Our booking tool Libro Reserve is hosted on another domain and applies its own cookies, described in its privacy policy.

Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect your information. As no transmission over the Internet is perfectly secure, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Minors

Our shop is not directed at people under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may change this policy. Any significant change will be posted on this page, with its effective date.
